eDucate® is a cross-functional design and delivery e-Health platform that allow users to easily navigate through a repository of core health information across the healthcare continuum. This year, our existing e-learning modules are enhanced by a series of exciting contemporary lectures that will be uploaded and archived on eDucate®. The current Covid–19 pandemic has influenced a shift in learning across all sectors, including health education, and has accelerated the transition to virtual CME. We are pleased to engage an exceptional cadre of speakers, all leaders in their field of expertise, to impart their knowledge and expertise across a diverse array of medical topics. Through this lecture series, eDucate® members will have to assess the most recent medical updates as well as practical approaches to current treatment and management.
All lectures are framed with clearly defined goals and include a discussion between the speaker and moderator in a question-and-answer format that highlights changing dynamics and treatment options. Our experts address shifting trends in disease incidence, prevalence, epidemiology and provide advances in pathobiology, treatment strategies, and outcomes. Data from various clinical trials are compared and guidelines reviewed with recommendations for disease management, including primary and secondary prevention and risk reduction. An approach to patient management is facilitated through case-based learning that provides rationale around treatment options. Conflicting treatment recommendations and ambiguity also discussed, with suggestions and recommendations for disease management.
